The cottage is located only about 1 km from La Roche-en-Ardennes, on a plateau overlooking the Ourthe and the Cresse de Corbeau. In and around La Roche there are several places of interest, such as the castle ruins, the museum that tells about the Battle of the Bulge or the Chocolaterie Cyril in Samrée. You can reach the cities of Houffalize and Bastogne in half an hour. From your house you can set off on wonderful walks and bike rides. For the very sporty cyclists, the spectacular ride Claudy Criquielion at the end of August, is highly recommended, where you will ride 100 or 197 kilometers through the beautiful hilly landscape of the Ourthe and the Aisne. All summer long you can go kayaking on the Ourthe, and in winter cross-country skiing is possible in this region, or downhill skiing at Baraque de Fraiture, depending on snow conditions. The cottage is located on a small vacation complex. There is a communal children's playground in the complex. The cottage is recommended in all respects for a vacation or weekend with the whole family or friends. This house is mainly intended for family groups.
