Summary: Cottage was ideally situated a short walk from my parents that live in the village. The cottage was clean and basic and ok to used as a base. There was no wifi unfortunately, which our lads were not happy about, but there was a nice small garden to let our elderly dog wander around. Just a couple of things to point out, the key safe is located by the back door and not the front as it states. Also a few more extension leads may be a wise addition as the sockets aren’t very accessible in the front bedroom. These may have been removed due to the Covid-19 situation, as they would be additional touch points. Also, I think we may have been the first party into the cottage since lockdown was lifted, and the back bedroom in particular did smell a bit musty. Maybe a little more airing needed!
