Summary: I saw this place had a 5-star rating on Expedia. It was more expensive than the other budget hotels, but I paid the extra money hoping for a nice stay. Bad choice. They don’t clean your room, and they provide tiny hand towels as bath towels (I’m not exaggerating—they’re literally hand towels). After staying for four days, I asked for another towel, but the desk attendant rudely refused. The bidet in the bathroom had a wiring issue and would shock me whenever I sat on it. When I reported it to the desk attendant, he laughed and told me to just unplug it. The bed feels like sleeping on a wooden plank (also not exaggerating—it’s like sleeping on the floor). On top of that, the pipe running from the bathroom sink to the drain fell off, causing water to leak all over the floor. There’s no heat despite the temperature being 30°F outside, and the hallways and lobby are littered with garbage. I will say that the room was clean and large. The area around the hotel is barren, with absolutely nothing nearby except for a couple of convenience stores within a 15-minute walk. I would highly recommend staying near Beomil or Seomyeon Station instead—they have plenty of markets, restaurants, and bars.
