Summary: We had family coming into town and needed a local place for them to stay at the last minute. Luckily, we found a gem of a place a stones throw from the beautiful Oxen Run Park in SE DC/MD.The house is wonderful, clean, spacious and homey. We love this neighborhood as well, as it is near a big park, walking distance to 2 playgrounds and less than a mile from the Oxen Run Amphitheatre/Park/Baseball field/BBQ spot. There is also a walking trail through the park that starts just 2 blocks from the house.Inside the kitchen is fabulous and fully appointed, which as great for our family dinner. The bedrooms are big and spacious. It is a wonderful place, but not so fragile that children cannot come. The backyard is also amazing with plenty of spots to sit, eat and relax and a great place for morning coffee (it was too hot outside to use all the time, but we really want to try it out on a fall evening).Robin was a wonderful hostess who was proactive and communicated well. Thank you Robin!
