Lake Tapps is one of the few lakes in western Washington that allows boats and jet skiis, and has easy access to shopping and dining in nearby (10 minutes) Bonney Lake and Sumner areas. It is 30-40 minutes from the airport, 45-60 minutes from Seattle, 30-minutes to Tacoma, and 1-hour from Mount Rainier National Park.
It is listed as 10+ max guests but you'll note that there are only 6 beds (1 king, 2 queen, 1 twin, and a trundle sofa that sleeps 2). So there are beds for 10 but we can accommodate more with air mattresses or kids crashing elsewhere. Just let us know your needs and we can work with you!
Lake Tapps is a reservoir with water levels lowered in the winter (January) and raised in the spring (March). In the winter when water levels are lower boating is not recommended, but there are still lovely views from the house.
