The ideal Baltic Sea vacation home for families with children. Tastefully and ecologically conscious renovated spacious apartment in the old barn and stable building. Three bedrooms, each with two beds, an open living and dining area with fireplace, play floor and a small garden.
The 'old barn' belongs to a former farm; the buildings were built in 1852. There was also a swimming pool in 2001.
Our swimming pool (large indoor swimming pool 12.5mx 4.5m) is also available to you from mid-June to early November. It invites you to enjoy swimming - not only on bad weather days.
The idyllic region 'fishing', in the far north of Schleswig-Holstein between the Schlei and the Baltic Sea, offers gentle tourism with a focus on water sports and horse riding. Long beaches, bike and hiking trails allow a real feeling of time out, nature and peace.
Barefoot path, maize maze, horseback riding, landing nets on the pier, picking berries, boat trips, canoe rental, sailing, surfing or kite lessons, golf courses make leisure planning versatile.
There are cozy cafes and restaurants in the area as well as organic farms and shops in Löstrup, Kappeln, and Süderbrarup. Shops, bakeries, pharmacy, post office and bank in Steinbergkirche (2km).

Summary: It has everything! Indoor swimming pool, kicker table, indoor hammock, grill, lots of space, games, Trampolin ... my kids and I loved this place. It is not far from the beaches, grocery shopping, good restaurants, horseback riding. It was well stocked with all the basics like salt, cooking oil, cleaning supplies. The owner was really responsive and the housekeeper was really friendly. Of course being a 150 year stable, one has the creaking floors, exposed wood and the like but we found it absolutely charming. There is only a small TV upstairs in the main bedroom and no wlan but that was a blessing for the kids because they had to entertain themselves with no iPad! It was not so good for my husband since he had had to work but at least he could get Internet through his iPhone. This is one place we will definitely come back to.
