The nearby beach on the fjord is shallow and particularly invites your children to play. The house is not only ideal for families with children, couples who enjoy walking will also feel at home here, as there are beautiful paths in the forest and along the water.
The holiday home has three good bedrooms and a fantastic sleeping loft where you can see the stars through the skylight in the evening. From the large storage room you enter the large kitchen-living room with a marvellous 180° view over the fjord. You can also enjoy the view all day long on the terrace that runs around the house - please note that there is no railing.
Hundested is 4 km from the holiday home, where there is always something going on and where you can go shopping. The harbour is also very attractive with its fish shops and flea market. There is also a glass-blowing workshop. Vegetables grow particularly well in this region, and there is a shop in Lynæs that sells produce from local farms. Within walking distance of the holiday home is the Nordskoven forest where you can see the famous old oak trees, which are the oldest living things in Denmark. In this beautiful, green landscape you can cycle well, the routes are well signposted. Where the Roskilde Fjord meets the Isefjord, the cliffs of Store Karlsminde rise 33 metres high. The cliffs face south and are located a few kilometres east of Lynæs Havn. At the foot of the cliffs, anglers stand patiently with their rods waiting for a bite. From the top of the cliff you have a view of the Isefjord and the northern part of Roskilde Fjord. On a clear day, you can see the Kyndby electricity plant to the south and the DanSteel steelworks in Frederiksværk to the north. From April to September, you can take the Kulhus ferry Columbus between Sølager and Kulhuse. From Hundested you can easily get to the Sommerland Sjælland amusement park and Tivoli in Copenhagen is only 50 kilometres away.
