This idyllic landscape, was the source of inspiration as we named the house (that is located just three kilometers away) "Aphaia".
Surrounded by a large plot of land and native vegetation, Aphaia Villa I (along with the attached Aphaia Villa II) has been designed to offer a feeling of serenity to the visitors. The plot (shared with two more houses with own outdoors/pool built some meters above Aphaia Villas, however with no visual contact to the front part of Aphaia Villas and the pool) is set near the sea, while also protected by a stone wall, that fits nicely with the gentle slopes of the hill. The property is accessed through a few-meter -approx. 250 m.- country-road.
A small secluded rocky beach can be accessed through a country footpath (at 7-10 min. walking). Please note that the footpath has inclined parts and rough surface and it is not recommended for children.
The Villa features an elegant, neoclassical design that blends with the overall architecture of the island.
On the lower ground (pool) level of the villa, guests will find two double bedrooms (the one of which, has direct access to the pool area) with ensuite bathrooms, a WC and storage rooms.
On the ground level (that opens to a spacious balcony with a seating area, overlooking the pool), there is the living room (with a fireplace), an open plan dining room and a well-equipped kitchen.
On this level there is also a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom that opens to a covered balcony with sea and pool view.
Finally, on the first floor, there is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, that opens up to a balcony with similar views (pool and the sea).
The swimming pool steals the show of the outdoor area. As mentioned above, the garden is large, including lawn parts, dotted with olive trees and Mediterranean herbs.
Amenities include internet access (via mobile-internet device), TV, sound system, A/C (in the rooms of the ground and first floor of the Villa), ceiling fans, dishwasher, washing machine, parking spaces and many more.
Services included in the rental rates are: Guide from Aegina port to the villa upon arrival, cleaning service and change of towels/linens once per week (no cleaning service during the stay, for reservations of up to 5 nights), bathroom products.
Aphaia Villa I, can be rented along with the attached Aphaia Villa II (at extra cost), for a total accommodation of up to 16 guests. During rentals of Aphaia Villa I only, Aphaia Villa II will be blocked to bookings during your stay, thus, the outdoor areas and pool of the property will be exclusively used by the guests of Aphaia Villa I.
