Positive: The host was wonderful, -very welcoming and helpful. The air was clean, the surroundings peaceful, and the backyard was lovely. The rooms were spacious and relatively clean, making the stay comfortable overall.

Negative: It seemed like the house hadn’t been occupied for a while. All the mattresses were lumpy and the beds sagged, making them very uncomfortable to sleep on and resulting in pain in the morning. One of the beds was even broken, but we had no choice but to use it. We were told that Samovar was stolen, so images were not up-to-date. The host was very responsive when asked specific questions, but didn’t offer additional details about what was missing or not available in the house. Managing multiple properties isn’t easy, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of guests’ comfort—some renovation and replacing the old beds would make a big difference.

Summary: If you’re traveling with a big group, looking for good night rest - look elsewhere
