Positive: We were in Saint-Étienne for the Rugby World cup and this place was inexpensive.
Negative: Wasn't very clean. Had to rinse the shower tray down before use. What condiments in the kitchen that were there were covered in grease. All 'display ' crockery and cutlery were covered in dust so had to be washed before use. Bedding was stained, we slept on top to avoid too much contact. The appart'hotel is old and dated and at times noisey. Although smoking not allowed, there was smoke smells wafting in from other apartments outside. We must of been the first English people to stay there as the visitor book was all French. Also 30°+ heat and no ac or fan. The listing said there there was a fan but when we asked we were told it had been retired?
