Positive: During checkin Marcella really took the time to explain everything about the house and facilities. Plus we sat down and she gave a printed list with all the best restaurants and things to see/do in Matera. Even though she did not speak English perfectly we managed with an translating app where necessary. The room was cozy and had a private bathroom, the house has a shared dining table, living room and terrace. Was not bothered by other guests.
Negative: Sometimes there are dogs barking in the evening, but it did not disturb sleep for me. Really recommended to have a car to get easily to the city center, walking is quite far, Marcella did point out which parking garages were the best so that was nice.
