Brooks Cabin is 1 of 3 cabin rentals on The Lone Star Farm, a 12 acre retreat just minutes from downtown Round Top! The cabin was purchased from Barnwood Builders and constructed in 2019 with the addition of a full bath including dual sinks, a luxurious tub and separate shower. The cabin can accommodate up to 5 guests and has an open studio floor plan. Cabins are available for rent individually or in combination along with our 3 suite Farmhouse. The Lone Star Farm (LSF) is a private retreat less than 2 miles from downtown Round Top! Amenities on the property include a pool, pickleball court, catch and release fishing pond, large 200+ year old trees and a seasonal fire pit. The front 5 acres of the farm are maintained for guest use for an authentic country retreat! We manage LSF as a year round rental option for guests looking to relax and explore all Round Top has to offer. Between the 3 cabins and Farmhouse on the property, we can accommodate up to 20 guests and also have a community barn with a full kitchen and dining area which can be added to your stay for an additional fee. Remote keypad access to all cabins with keycode given week of your check-in We are available throughout stay on phone, text and email and actively available for any guest issues or questions. Access to Property Check-In is after 4pm on the first night of your reservation. Please reach out to the LSF team with any requests for early check-in. Early check-in must be pre-approved. The front entry gate has a sliding latch on the left side and gate opens inward to property. We are a keyless property. Each cabin has a keypad - you will be given an access code and operating instruction prior to check-in. Your reservation ONLY includes access to the farm for overnight guests. Due to limited parking and shared community spaces, we cannot have unauthorized guests on property. LSF is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, please remember to lock your doors. Parking Each cabin rental comes with 2 designated parking spaces. If more parking is required, please reach out to the LSF booking team for approval and instructions on parking additional vehicles. Community Spaces / Noise Lone Star Farm has shared community spaces in between our cabins. We ask you to please always be mindful of other guests and our local neighbors throughout your stay. Please avoid any outdoor music after 9pm Pool No lifeguard on duty. All swimming and pool activities are at your own risk All children under 12 years old need to be under supervision at all times when at LSF NO OUTSIDE GUESTS are allowed in the pool at any time. NO diving. Pool is 4ft deep The pool is not heated PickleBall Court Pickleball court is available for overnight guest use during your stay at Lone Star Farm If multiple parties are on the farm, please be courteous and limit course use to 1 hour intervals if others are waiting Pond & Land Please always use caution when walking or hiking on the property and remember this is rural Texas, caution for wildlife and snakes when off the stone paths Please do not cross any fence lines or gates other than the front entry gate of the farm. The pond has a small amount of bass and is available to use for catch and release fishing. Lone Star Farm does not provide any fishing equipment Please remember to always use caution when fishing or walking near the pond. NO Swimming in pond NO Pets NO PETS PLEASE - While we love our pets (Hadley cottage is named after our favorite dog daughter) we cannot allow pets on property at any time due to liability issues and shared community spaces. There are great local boarding options in Brenham and Round Top. Please ask the LSF team for recommendations on pet boarding references. NO Smoking Our buildings are old and wood and do not mix well with fire. Smoking is prohibited in or near cabins including around the pool area. Please avoid smoking in shared community places and pick up all cigarette butts. Miscellaneous Information Food - We provide a few Texas made snacks, k-cups and bottled waters for your stay. All snacks in the cabin are complimentary. Need to grab food supplies? We recommend HEB Grocery in La Grange or Brenham, Round Top Mercantile locally and of course Buc-ee’s as a Texas roadtrip staple (Locations in Bastrop from Austin airport and Cypress or Katy from Houston) WIFI – LSF offers a shared password protected closed WiFi network on the property via Round Top Wifi. Password will be provided upon check- in TV - Each cabin has a TV with basic cable. A channel list and remote instructions are near the TV in each cabin The overhead fan in Sloane Collins Cabin is operated by remote control. Please make sure light switches are up to operate remote. Extra batteries are in kitchen drawers Door keypads. Code must be entered to lock and unlock doors. Please double check doors are locked when leaving the cabin unattended or at night. Maid Service - A one-time cleaning fee applies for your entire stay. There is no daily maid service. If additional towels or sheets are required, please reach out to your LSF booking team. Safety A Flashlight is located in each cabin. Flashlight charging cords are in the kitchen drawer. All children under 12 years old need to be under supervision at all times when at LSF Fire Extinguishers are located under the bathroom or kitchen sink in each cabin Fire ladder is located behind the bed in Sloane Collins Cabin Check-out Standard Checkout is at 11am on the last day of your reservation. Late check-out requires pre-approval by LSF Team Please turn heat down to 55 in Winter and AC up to 78 in summer upon exiting your cabin Please throw trash in the trash cans and towels in the hamper.
