The Space:
The home is a true example of Caribbean luxury with 26’ ceilings in the living room and dining area. This completely renovated vacation home features Mahogany wood flooring throughout the entire main house, Chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops and a 48-inch Wolf range oven, alongside a beautiful glass door providing natural light and ocean views. The kitchen provides enough pots and pans to accommodate a small family or a large party, while the Sub-Zero refrigeration and wine cooler provide ample storage. The open floor plan spreads into the dining and living area allowing you to prepare fabulous meals while entertaining your guests. Before sitting down for dinner, step out onto one of the attached balconies and sip a cocktail while you watch the sun set.
The four bedrooms located upstairs in the main house are both spacious and comfortable. From the great room you’ll find the master bedroom featuring a king bed and attached master bathroom. Located on the opposite side of the great room is another bedroom with a king bed. Both bedrooms have easy access to the outdoor balcony for guests to enjoy. Off the kitchen is a third bedroom equipped with twin beds, perfect for children or teens, as well as the fourth bedroom with a queen bed and private bathroom.
For additional sleeping arrangements, walk down the stairs for the fifth bedroom that features two twin beds that can be made into a king bed and private bathroom. The lower level also houses a den with a 75-inch TV, as well as a separate game room equipped with a ping pong table and foosball table, perfect for those rainy days or a fun game night indoors. For those wanting a little more privacy, reside in the separate poolside studio suite with two twin beds that can be made into a king bed, private bathroom, and small kitchen.
There is an infinity edge pool with chaise lounges for you to cool down, relax and enjoy this great location. A convenient shower and bathroom are next to the pool. The home also has a 250’ dock with palapa, lounge chairs, swim platform, and fish cleaning table. For an additional small fee there are three double kayaks and two paddle boards available.
The Neighborhood:
The Mata Grande grocery store is a short distance from the house, and they have a provisioning service should you want food and drinks at the house upon your arrival. There is a small restaurant at Sun Diver Resort which is to the right along the beach. Within a 10-minute walk to the left is Rojo Beach Bar which has excellent food as well as Mata Chica’s Mambo Restaurant. A short cart ride north is Portofino Resort which has a very good restaurant. Edvin, the caretaker, can assist you in the cooking of your catch should you go fishing.
Getting Around:
There is a water taxi service available which offers public and private transportation. Local dive, snorkel, and fishing tours as well as mainland tours and golf cart rentals can be arranged by the local manager. Kelin can answer just about any question that you may have.
