Positive: It was a good experience to live like a Japanese. Instead of living like a foreign tourist in a hotel, you really get into the life of a normal Japanese. Some people may like it, but I guess not everyone enjoys that way. The location is convenient.
Negative: The property is old but well maintained. You can hear the sound of the subway trains when they pass by, even though it is not too loud. Windows clatter as well when trains pass by. There is only one full size bed for 2 guests. Additional guests will need to sleep on the tatami, but bed accessories are provided. The entrance is a steep and narrow stair that may be inconvenient for older people. The cost of staying is not cheap. This is also the only place we stayed without a bidet in the toilet.
Summary: If you want to experience the life of a Japanese, this may be the place you want to try.
