The home is currently experiencing a drainage issue on the ground floor: on big rain events water has been known to come in to the ground floor of the home from the Eastern edge of the foundation (in the half bathroom). While this is a nuisance, the space is furnished with a powerful dehumidifier, lifted trim boards and a push broom to keep the water managed.
