Positive: Seemed clean. Good location. Fridge in room. Wifi works.
Negative: Advertised as 'pay at property', but my payment was taken in full a few days before my arrival. Not a good start. Accommodation felt jaded, past it's best. Wobbly low quality furniture. TV frame cracked and taped together. 'Old' decor - some attempts to update but clearly DIY. The unattended reception system is vulnerable to abuse - one guest's arrival envelope was stuck to the front door for over 24 hours, visible from the street. I didn't see a host person there during my stay. Was informed that there was no room cleaning service during my stay only after I'd made the booking - you have to call someone for more supplies. I didn't bother. Bought my own milk and teabags, after I'd used the 2 provided. I would not want to share that room with 3 others.
Summary: If/when I return to Oban, I will seek other accomm.
