Positive: Spacious open-plan 2nd floor apartment, with kitchen alcove and separate bathroom. Very clean, well-appointed and very comfortable in a quiet neighbourhood. Felt very safe. Very pleasant and helpful owner, Gabriela, lives on the floor below. Although not central, there are bus stops and metro a short walk away and the buses are frequent, start early, continue until late (with some night buses) and are cheap. Can't pay on the bus so it's advisable to buy bus tickets/pass at ticket booth in town before going to the apartment. Piata Unirii has one and probably other main squares. There's a good supermarket at the end of the road but no restaurants nearby. Excellent value and a most enjoyable stay!
Negative: All was good. As stated there are no nearby restaurants but we ate in town before returning on a late bus, or went to the supermarket and cooked at home (also an economical option!)
Summary: Very comfortable & clean accommodation and excellent value
