Only an 8 minute walk to the Othello Light Rail, Safeway and many shops and restaurants. The apartment features new appliances, soft cork floors, new A/C and heating and a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely morning and midday sunlight, and a private backyard patio. Full bathroom with a shower. Designed and owned by two architects. Located on a quiet residential street in Southeast Seattle, the property includes one duplex house and a large yard. The front yard and upper deck is reserved for the upper long-term tenant, and the lower unit has access to the back gravel patio and shared use of the lawn beyond. The yard is un-fenced so is not suitable for pets. There is a garage at the rear of the lot for the owner's use. Guests have access to street parking, which is free and readily available in front. The apartment is a quick 8 minute walk from Othello Light Rail Station, and close to several buses (#7, #50 etc). Beautiful 7 acre Othello Park is only a 4 minute walk, and features walking paths, picnic tables and a view of Mt. Rainier. Take the light rail, bus or drive to nearby Columbia City for additional shops, restaurants and the Co-op market. Please be aware there are several steps (with handrail) down to main entrance. Once inside, the unit is all on one level.
