Summary: It took my contacting the property management company, RoomPicks, to get information on how to check in. This finally arrived at 11:00 pm the night before we were to check in. "4 Great Units" turned out to be 4 hotel rooms scattered throughout this dated, worn hotel. Each was supposed to accommodate 6 guests and be a 400 sq ft Studio with 2 double beds, sleeper sofa/futon, full bath, and kitchen. Hotel staff seemed clueless on this point. Kept trying to check us in to regular 2 double bed rooms with no sofa and no kitchen. We had no choice but to accept 2 rooms with no kitchens just to get rooms with enough beds/sleeper sofas for the 18 people we paid for. 1600 sq ft became more like 1200. Pretty cramped. Even so, we had to wait until almost 5:00 for our last room despite the 3:00 check-in promised. “Premier restaurant” was only open for breakfast ($20 +). “Rooftop terrace” we were told is “seasonal.” It was not open at all during our stay (mid-May). And to top it all off, just when we finally all got settled, a sprinkler pipe broke, the fire alarm sounded, we had to evacuate the hotel, the lobby ceiling fell in, and the elevators were off line for several hours. Two members of the staff were very helpful, but most were quite rude and demanded tips to do anything. The neighborhood is fine, but this place put me off VRBO for life.
