Positive: Essentially, the apartment was charming, clean, and well-appointed. The parking on site was covered and perfect. However, the lack of proper air-conditioning made our stay extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived, there was one portable window unit in the living room, the only working unit in the entire apartment. There was a large gap where the unit was vented, allowing hot air to enter the apartment while cool air was coming out of the portable unit. We tried to fill the gap with a blanket, which helped to a degree. However, with 90° days, the heat and humidity in the apartment made it almost impossible to sleep. The sheets felt damp, and neither one of us was able to get comfortable. There was zero air conditioning in the bedroom, only two box fans. We loved the location, but we would not be comfortable renting this unit in the future because of the lack of air conditioning. It was especially disappointing considering the premium price we paid for parents' weekend and the fact that we were not informed of the situation with the a/c before arrival. It would be my recommendation that you address this issue as soon as possible.
Summary: Cute apartment, great location, but the lack of proper air conditioning made the stay miserable.
