Surrounded by a 7-acre meadow, our luxuriously appointed and spacious yurt is perfect for a unique country getaway. We are conveniently located ~3 miles from the charming town of Floyd and less than 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Pet companions are more than welcome! The yurt is equipped high-speed fiber optic internet.

The space
The open floor plan of the yurt makes for an incredibly inviting space for a couple or a small family. The yurt boasts modern appliances and amenities. A mini-split unit heats and cools the space quickly and easily. In the cooler months, you can also cozy up by the wood stove (wood provided!). The large kitchen is perfect for preparing and enjoying food. There is a gas grill and ample seating on the large deck.
There is a king-size bed as well as a full-size sleeper sofa, both of which are very comfortable. There is also a full bathroom.
Please note, yurts are very stable structures, but they are different from traditional stick-built buildings. One of the main ways you might notice this difference (aside from the striking visual features) is in the colder months, when strong winds can be heard more loudly inside the yurt, as well as during rain storms. Rest assured, however, that the aerodynamic shape of the yurt and the many interconnected points in the frame of the structure create a space that is safe, sturdy, and capable of withstanding harsh conditions. We've had a number of guests tell us how much they loved hearing the rainfall at night.
Guest access
The entire living area of the yurt is open to guests. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer located in the small pump house near the yurt.
