Positive: The apartment is in a very nice residential area directly by the sea. It has a big balcony with a sea view. The garden is well-preserved, and the apartment was clean and spacious. We visited the place in May, so there were no tourists and it was absolutely peaceful. The apartment is well equipped, with a microwave, enough pots and dishes, dishwasher, an iron, a toaster and plates. We also appreciate the spacious parking lot (free parking) The location is fine, walking distance to bars, shops, restaurants and beaches.
Negative: I guess we were the first guests of the season, which means the apartment was not well ventilated. When we arrived at night, we noticed a strong smell of dampness and mould. The owner tried to resolve the issue remotely, but even intense airing didn’t help, and throughout our stay, the windows were fogged up, the air was humid, and the smell persisted. It would also be helpful to provide toilet paper in the bathroom for guests, especially when they arrive late at night and have no option to go shopping. There was no trash bin in the bathroom, and it might also be a good idea to install insect screens on the shutters. We also couldn’t close the balcony door from the inside. The owner said she would call the maintenance person, but no one showed up during the entire week. It was not possible to secure the door from the inside to prevent someone from entering the apartment from the balcony. Since the apartment was high up, it wasn’t a major issue, but it would be good to fix this for the future.
