Villa La Caldareccia is a splendid house with a panoramic view of the sea and the Apuan Alps, embellished by Lorenzo Vignoli's sculptures. Surrounded by a large garden of olive trees and with a spectacular salt water pool and patio where you can sunbathe and admire the view especially at sunset. Four bedrooms and one double in the annex for a total of 11 guests, a large kitchen equipped with every comfort and finishes in fine Carrara marble.
Villa La Caldareccia is a villa with panoramic view over the sea and the Apuan Alps, embellished with Lorenzo Vignoli's sculptures. Surrounded by a large olive grove and a spectacular saltwater pool and patio where to sunbathe and admire the view especially at sunset. For a total of 11 guests, a large kitchen equipped with all comforts and finishes in precious marble of Carrara.
The villa consists of a large living room with a piano, a living room, a piano, a TV, a living room, a bathroom carving; a large bathroom and a pergola with a table to eat. On the first floor, there are four large bedrooms: three doubles and one with three single beds. In front of the main house, it is an original annex with a bedroom, private sign and all comforts; the characteristic of this room is completely immersed in nature! In the room there are blackout curtains to allow guests to sleep quietly.
The main part of the garden is reserved for the wonderful pool (9m x 4m x h1,45mt), with a waterfall built by Lorenzo representing one of its human forms. In front of the swimming pool at the sun terrace at the breathtaking sunsets while sipping a great Tuscan wine!

Lorenzo, the owner and sculptor, lives alongside the house. His art studio is located high above the street, in addition to its splendid works.
The villa is located in Montemagno, charming Versiliese hill a few kilometers from Lucca (22km - 34mins) and Viareggio (11km - 20mins). Surrounded by nature, it is possible to organize nature trails in the nearby Apuane Alps, Lake Massaciuccoli, Migliarino San Rossore Park. In the port of Viareggio, there are many short-term boats to visit the Cinque Terre with a beautiful catamaran; the famous Via Francigena is only 2 km from the house and from here to the itineraries. You can also ask for specialized Environmental Guides to accompany you in some of these adventures.
The Versilia beaches are all close to both Viareggio and Lido di Camaiore; visit La Lecciona Beach in Viareggio, pristine habitat with natural sand dunes.
Close to the villa there is a restaurant with excellent dishes of Tuscany. In S. Martino in Freddana (10 minutes) the nearest supermarket and very stocked restaurants, bars, pastries, bakery, pharmacy etc.

Summary: With children and grandchildren, it was fantastic to be in such beautiful countryside, yet a short drive to all the amenities and the fabulous Tuscan cities. Everyone loved the pool and used it every day. The owner and his family were helpful and friendly and the grandchildren enjoyed their introduction to sculpturing!
