The apartment
Inside
The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. There is one king size double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a double sofa bed in the living room. The living area comprises a comfortable sitting area with sofa bed , TV and coffee table together with a dining table that seats 6 people and a small kitchen. The kitchen includes the necessary equipment for cooking, with a hob, fridge/freezer, sink, worktop crockery, cutlery and utensils. The bathroom contains a toilet, bidet, wash basin and shower. The balcony overlooks the garden and pool.
Outside
The balcony has a table and chairs for four people. The gardens and pool are shared with other apartment residents/guests. There are sun loungers and an outdoor shower. There are sunny and shaded terraces areas.
The lovely Santa Maria beach is just 300m away and there are bars, restaurants and two small supermarkets just two minutes walk away. The town centre of Santa Maria is a ten minute walk away, where there are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants.
Your stay includes everything on the inventory including bedding and house towels. Also included is electricity, gas and water. There is free WIFI available in the apartment, but we need to know at least five days before your arrival if you wish to have the wifi. It is supplied by a Thord party and we have to purchase the login, the cost of which is included in your rental. Please bring your own towels for use by the pool and on the beach.
The locality
Tropical Resort is located close to the centre of the 8km of the sandy Santa Maria beach. This beach is known for surfing. To the east, about a 25 minute walk, there is a Kite Beach, together with a wild stretch of untouched wilderness, where you can enjoy a coffee in the restaurant, kite surf, or paddle with the harmless lemon sharks if you walk a little further.
Tourist Tax is payable by all adults over the age of 16. The cost is €2.50 per person per night to a maximum of 10 nights.
