Positive: The apartment was well-furnished and had some beautiful views from certain rooms. It was a nice touch to see various board games available, even though we didn’t get a chance to use them.
Negative: Due to roadworks between Bergen and the apartment and ferry schedules, we arrived around 2 am, exhausted. When I asked the host for a couple of extra hours for check-out, the request was declined, citing cleaning crew and next guests - even though the next guest’s check-in was at 16:00. A 10:00 check-out and 16:00 check-in policy feels quite one-sided, and something Booking.com should revisit for guest comfort. The entrance also opens to steep, narrow stairs without railings—difficult for those with luggage or limited mobility, and not inclusive. Lastly, a note inside the apartment stated that the washing machine is not available for one-night stays—this was not communicated in advance and was disappointing.
