Positive: Beautifully nestled in the Cantabria countryside it was ideal for us as a family needing some rest and recuperation . Very quiet and peaceful . The food was varied and excellent and we really enjoyed access to the spa ( one access per person per night stay ).
Negative: The bed was so uncomfortable , I woke up with a bad back every morning . It would have been really useful to have some information in the room in English for example a map of the hotel and surrounding area , timings for meal times . We should have made a real effort to learn some Spanish before our trip . Very little English was spoken.
Summary: Very restful , amazing food , we enjoyed 🙂
