Positive: Private setting down a dirt road. House was very clean. Large refrigerator, no dishwasher. Did have washer and dryer. Single bathroom, adequate supplies. Check-in was seamless with lock code for the gate lock and lock box for front door. Location was fine. Not walking distance to town but very short car ride.
Negative: A few things could be improved upon. Advertised as a fenced in property good for dogs but one side only has a couple horizontal slabs of wood on the vertical posts. Any dog could easily walk through the fence off the property. Not air conditioned so bedrooms were a little uncomfortable. One had a stand up cooling unit. Brought unit in from living room for other bedroom which helped but still somewhat warm. Towels could be of a better quality. Lastly we left a couple small items in the unit and were told the property would get back to us to arrange shipping or pick-up, but despite multiple contacts with the management company, have not heard back from the property itself. Not a big deal, but annoying.
Summary: Decent option in Taos but not if in middle of heatwave
