I am new to VRBO so not showing any reviews. I have been hosting my house for many years and have many 5 star reviews.
Hazel House is in the perfect spot for a traditional New Forest holiday. Ponies and donkeys wander by the front gate to drink at the nearby water splash, yet the village centre is only a stroll away with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. Walk the other way and miles of open forest are yours to explore on foot, on horseback or by bike.
The space
This attached Brockenhurst village cottage is prettily decorated in a relaxed and charming style of old and new textiles and furniture in soft muted colours. The sunny colourful garden is child-friendly with a big terrace for outside dining and sun bathing.
With four bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms Hazel House sleeps up to eight, plus a travel cot
Guest access
The whole house, conservatory and garden. Plenty of off road parking.
Fathers Field is a very quiet street, a car passing is rare. As respect to my neighbours I prefer to welcome quiet family groups rather than parties.
Ponies, donkeys and cows pass by the front gate. It's important to keep gates shut at all times.

Summary: Our family had a fantastic 3 day break at Hazel House. We are a family of 8, ranging in age from 81 to 6 with plenty of room for us all. The garden was a lovely space to sit in the sun and the location was perfect to the center of Brockenhurst with plenty of great pubs, local shops and exploring the forest. We all enjoyed seeing the ponies and donkeys roaming around, especially past the house. We would definitely recommend Hazel House for a family getaway.
