## Space
The higgihaus@hampton is a beautifully appointed and achingly stylish large five-storey Victorian semi detached house located in a conservation area in one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods. It would normally sleep 16-18, but we reconfigure the property on weekends in the low season to enable the house to be enjoyed by smaller groups. In this configuration the house is comprised of either two, three, four or five spacious and beautifully appointed bedrooms, two or three funky bathrooms (two with full baths), an amazing sitting room, big kitchen/diner, gardens and off-road parking for up to three cars. Whatever the size of your group, the house is for your exclusive enjoyment for the duration of your stay.
The kitchen/diner on the lower ground floor contains everything a budding Gordon Ramsey and team of sous-chefs might conceivably need to cater for the hungry hordes: An industrial-style range cooker with three ovens and a grill is complimented by a gas-fired Aga (two ovens and two hotplates), a microwave, a large fridge, a small freezer, and a large capacity dishwasher. The kitchen/diner opens onto a small, but perfectly formed private rear garden that contains plenty of outdoor seating and a very large gas barbeque.
In the sitting room there's plenty of room for higgihaustmates to play board games (provided), read, listen to music, watch cable TV (Virgin), catch a movie (Netflix) or just relax and unwind around a real fire.
In the bedrooms, you'll find king-sized beds with mattresses that are cutting edge, crisp cotton linens and duvets and pillows that are as soft as a bag of kittens. Each bedroom comes equipped with a 40 inch internet-connected smart TV, USB charging points placed immediately adjacent to the bed.
In the bathrooms, rainfall showers stand ready to invigorate and two of the three bathrooms contain full baths. We've even included eco-friendly shampoo and body wash.
The higgihaus@hampton is perfect for a small group of family/friends visiting the city or just looking for a comfortable and stylish house to get together and hang-out for a few days. Please note the number of rooms we open is determined by the number of guests and assumes 2 guests sharing a room. Your party will have exclusive access to the property for the duration of your stay.
Flexible Cancellation
Here at #teamhiggi, we’re conscious that there’s some uncertainty surrounding when we will all be allowed to travel and enjoy the company of a group of friends for a weekend. To make it a little easier for you, we have changed our cancellation policy for bookings made after Friday 5th June 2020 so that you will now receive a full refund if you cancel for any reason up to 14 days before check-in. You can cancel up to 5 nights before check-in (again for any reason) and you will receive a refund of your accommodation and cleaning fees (you would forgo the Airbnb service fee).
Enhanced Cleaning & Disinfecting
We want you to enjoy your stay with us and have always taken extra care to ensure your higgihaus is thoroughly cleaned and properly prepared in advance of your arrival. However, in response to the challenge presented by the Corona Virus, we have now adapted the higgihaus cleaning routine:
• Our cleaning team now wash/sanitise their hands before donning masks, gloves and aprons,
• They open all windows and doors to fully air the property, before applying OneChem Anti-Viral Disinfectant Spray to all surfaces,
• They tidy and thoroughly clean the property, as usual, ensuring that bed-linen and towels are spayed before handling,
• They apply a further spray of OneChem Anti-Viral Disinfectant Spray to all surfaces that are frequently touched (for example; light switches, door handles, hand rails, TV remotes etc),
• And finally, they lightly spray all furnishings with anti-viral spray (including the made-up beds), close all windows, properly remove masks, apron and gloves and wash/sanitise their hands as they leave the premises.
On top of that, we have placed anti-viral hand wash dispensers for complimentary guest use at all points of entry and continue to offer contactless self-check-in as all higgihaus properties are equipped with keyless entry systems.
## Access
The front door to the building has a keyless entry system and you will be given the entry code 24 hours prior to check-in. Video cameras are provided front and rear for your comfort and safety.
## Interaction
The higgihaus@hampton (#46) is a self-contained house for your exclusive use during your stay in our awesome city. There is no need for you to interact with us but should you need anything we'd be delighted to help. #teamhiggi are a friendly bunch who love Bristol and it is worth noting that Luke (who was born in Bristol) knows it like the back of his hand (well the best bits anyway). Luke is thus a veritable goldmine of places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat at, bars worth a visit and how to get about. We'll provide contact numbers ahead of check-in (feel free to call and say hi).
## Neighborhood
higgihaus@hampton (#46) is a mere stone's throw from Cotham Hill and the Whiteladies Road, both chock full of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, leisure facilities (including a cinema and gym) and all the transport options you’ll likely need when staying in our awesome city (including the train at Clifton Down). The Downs (400 acres of amazing parkland) is a hop, skip and a jump away in one direction and the city centre is a short walk in the other. Clifton Village, the Gloucester Road, Stokes Croft and the Harbourside are all easily reached on foot. The BBC, Bristol Royal Infirmary and Bristol University are all near-by.

Parking
The higgihaus@hampton has off-road parking at the rear of the property that will accommodate up to three cars. Should you have more cars than can park at the rear, then on-street parking is free on the weekends. Between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, you'll need a parking permit (which we can provide at a cost of £10 per day).
Clifton Down Shopping Centre also provides secure and overnight parking and is less than a five-minute walk away:
