Positive: I came for a week and stayed for a month! I absolutely loved Lanta Happy Hill - everything about it was just perfect for me. It essentially became my home for a month. I was there in the low season so Koh Lanta was quieter which was exactly what I wanted. The weather was beautiful for the most part - blue skies and baking hot - although there were a couple of showers as you expect in low season. The beach was about 400m away so easy just to head down there for a few hours. I was made to feel thoroughly welcomed by the owner and as a solo traveller, I felt safe, secure and comfortable. I loved everything about Lanta Happy Hill - the clean, spacious rooms, sitting on the balcony amid all the greenery, the location and the people.
Summary: I came for a week and stayed for a month! Perfect!
