When we looked for a location to create our agriturismo (holiday farm) we wanted a place where guests could relax and enjoy the silence.
We also wanted it to be a starting point to explore Piemonte and Liguria, to visit interesting cities (like Acqui Terme, Alba, Turin, Genoa...), to go to the seaside (the Ligurian 'Riviera of Flowers is a very popular holiday destination and only 1 hour away), to drive around in the hills and explore the little villages and medieval towers and castles, to go hiking on the calanche (a kind of prehistoric dunes), ...
And I'm proud to say we've succeeded !
I can't describe it better than what one of our guests wrote on Tripadvisor :
'The feeling you get when staying in Agriturismo Verdita, is difficult to capture in words. To us, Verdita was an ideal combination of charm, peace and quietness, comfort, cosiness, etc. The view over the lavender fields (cute little deer included) and hills are amazing. Merana and the surrounding villages are very quiet and hospitable. It's nice that you can visit a lot of things nearby, for example little villages with wineries, larger cities, culture, the Italian Riviera, typical markets, etc. And to top this all off, the hospitality of Natacha and Nicolas was great. They are always ready to give you directions and help you where they can, make reservations, etc. They are the perfect hosts! Their guide to the area is a must to discover the surroundings and little restaurants. They can truly be proud of their Italian dream 'Agriturismo Verdita'. We are allready looking forward to visiting them again next year! '
