Positive: The accommodation is so very close to the main area, cathedral, museums, small supermarket and excellent cafes located around the cathedral square. Everything was within walking distance. Anastasia is a very welcoming lady who brings a breakfast selection to your accommodation and lays up the table in the apartment each morning. We spent many hours just relaxing in the apartment as it was so lovely.
Negative: Taxi service from the airport. It took over an hour to obtain a taxi and that was with the assistance of a kind airport worker who spoke some English and could liaise with the taxi driver. If you do not speak fluent French then it is difficult to book a taxi from the airport independently. Although there is one firm who speaks excellent English, you can book online and he will ring and speak to you. He is a chauffer service and is no more expensive than a regular taxi. The tourist information office will give you details of this service.
