This lovely spacious home has 2 large bedrooms and 1 smaller bedroom, with 2 full bathrooms. It also features air conditioning for those hot summer days, and a pellet stove (with furnace backup) for those chilly nights. Direct TV and WiFi internet access are available at the cottage. This cottage features an open, inviting floor plan with lots of windows. It has been completely renovated and updated. A beautiful sunroom off the dining area provides a place to relax.

Desert Island: Somesville, Seal Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Southwest Harbor. All of these towns have their own character, and offer their own unique blend of restaurants, sightseeing, whale watching, arts, community events, mountains for hiking, carriage roads for walking or biking, beaches, parks, lighthouses, sailing, and boat-filled harbors.

Summary: This house is spacious, comfortable and functional. We had everything in the kitchen to cook our meals when needed. Showers were big and water pressure was good. Beds were very comfortable. We all had good recuperating sleep after all day hiking. The house is close to Acadia. It took us no more than 25 min to any hiking trail we chose. Food options were much better quality and prices were lower than in Bar Harbor. I highly recommend this house and would come back when visiting the area.
