This total industrial style renovation commenced in April 2015, taking every day of 18 months and incorporating several independent vacation rentals.
Accessible all the way by ramp, The Steampunk Suite with its own entrance, accommodates two people in a luxurious Ralph Lauren King size intricately carved wood & thick leather bed, accentuated with custom Steampunk lighting illuminating a pair of rusted and varnished perforated bedside tables. Below the horizontal window, a one-of-a-kind jet-pack and leather flying suit complete with gadgets, will fascinate Him while She conveniently utilizes the hand-sewn leather desk and drawers.
The sizable walk-in closet with laundry hamper, iron and ironing board, is modeled in gas piping with both short and long-term guests in mind, fitted with a 12X magnification mirror and hairdryer as well as a make-up table and stool.
The focal point of the room is an illuminated Spring Wall art installation mounted with 6 rusty springs. In front of the wall, are Airstream inspired riveted aluminum and leather chair and love seat from which to view your 4K HDTV with Amazon & Netflix. Below the TV, is an original glass-topped industrial laundry hamper fitted with strip lighting while a pair of aluminum riveted travel cases are packed for a quick Steampunk getaway!
Your kitchenette is equipped with a toaster oven, kettle, cutlery, cups, glasses, knife & chopping board and bottle opener while the inbuilt fridge/freezer with ice will keep your drinks cool.
Consisting of white subway tiles, black wall tiles and aluminum scrap-yard tiles centered with carriage bolts, this eclectic bathroom has a heated floor thermostat to keep those toes warm on cold nights. The steel framed mirror is flanked by a pair of brass alabaster wall-lights mounted on white subway tiles, below which resides a granite-topped steel cage vanity, housing a brass-sink fitted with red & gold faucets. The unique custom shower curtain is constructed from chain-mail suspended from a gas pipe shower-rod. The black toilet shelters below the ultimate Steampunk gear-art installation mounted on steel-trim aluminum walls while industrial grab-rails serve as towel rails for oversized bath-sheets. A gas pipe double toilet-roll holder will accommodate all your bathroom softness needs while the sliding glass door permits just a little light from the bathroom to filter into the Steampunk Suite.
A brass angel shoots a love-potion tipped arrow at all who enter while your external entryway French doors have been programmed with a 4 digit code supplied after booking confirmation.
Our driveway accommodates about 10 cars so you can easily park your car here and Uber Downtown in the evening.
The spacious shared ozonated hot-tub seats 6 and is open to Utopian guests throughout the year.
