Approval is needed for more than one dog, with an additional fee applicable. Failure to comply with these rules, including bringing a pet without prior approval, will result in a $500 penalty per unauthorized pet and the possibility of being asked to leave immediately.

Summary: We have rented 3 different houses at Lake Junaluska. This one has been our favorite, mostly because of the huge front porch with the beautiful view. The house is close to the rec center so nice for our grandkids to walk to the activities, but it is up on the hill removed from all the traffic and we could not see any other houses from the porch. They have plenty of seating on the porch and two large tables so we played games and ate most of our meals there.The only thing that was unclear from the listing is that this house is a duplex. There are two large living spaces with two kitchens and the main floor is open between the two. The bedroom areas are separated with 3 accessible from one side and the other 3 bedrooms accessible separately. It did not matter for our group, but others might want to be able to access the other bedrooms without having to walk through the upper level.The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and linens were great. The house was more expensive than others we have rented, but with 2 families sharing the cost, it is perfect.
