Originally built in 1856 this farmhouse has been lovingly restored with stylish and modern amenities for a perfect vacation getaway. Nestled in the heart of downtown, historic Old Lyme the property is convenient to shops, restaurants and local shoreline activities.
The open-plan first floor features a gourmet kitchen with two refrigerator/freezers, induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher and large island with seating. Living/Dining space features a 48" Smart TV, dining table with seating for 8 and a cozy Jotul gas stove perfect for chilly New England nights. Glass doors open to an oversized deck with dining table, chairs, umbrella and grill overlooking a large private yard where you can gaze at the stars from a 4-season sunken hot tub.
The second floor features 3 bedrooms including a queen master with an en-suite full bathroom. Two additional guest rooms include one with a queen bed, the other with bunk beds, These share an oversized full bathroom complete with a restored antique clawfoot tub which was salvaged from the original home. Reflective of the minimal aesthetic of the house, fresh white linens and towels complete each room.
Additional amenities include central air and heating, first floor washer dryer, mudroom and game closet.
