Positive: The location of the apartment is quite good – it’s close to the bus stop and ferry terminal, making transportation very convenient. The apartment itself was decent, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed, which was the highlight. The host was also very nice and welcoming, which added to the sta
Negative: I booked this property because of its 9.1 excellent rating, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The location, although convenient, is on a steep slope. Walking down feels like sliding, and walking back up is very difficult, especially for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. For taxis and autos it’s fine, but on foot it’s quite challenging. The apartment layout is also not ideal. The kitchen and living room are in the basement, while the bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are somewhat tricky, and the terrace/sitting area in the basement has no proper ventilation. It’s not as shown in the pictures and feels suffocating. Cleanliness was another major issue. The bed sheets were not cleaned properly and had hair and mess on them, which was very disappointing. The bathroom facilities also need attention. The shower door was broken, which caused leakage and made showering inconvenient. The WC is in a very cramped spot, making it uncomfortable to use. As the property is in a Muslim country, the absence of a bidet was also unexpected. In addition, the neighbors upstairs were very disturbing. Even though I was with my family and kept quiet, around 11 PM they started knocking on the floor, while they themselves were making noise late at night around 1–2 AM, which disrupted our sleep.
