La Boquilla is a fishing village with Afro-Caribbean roots located in the northernmost point of Cartagena, a city that has been admired for its colonial architecture and engineering for decades. It is also a beach shelter for those looking to get away for a few hours from the turmoil of the Historic Center and the crowded beaches of Bocagrande. On a good day, the sun shines from the sky, appeased by an abundant sea breeze. Thin layers of dark gray sand rise and cover the visitors’ feet. Under that sky and sun, the beach opens up generously with its yellow tents and palm-roofed kiosks facing a green and crystalline blue sea.
Uber is the fastest and cheapest ways to go anywhere, there is also public transportation nearby. If you are staying for several days and want to explore, it is best to rent a car.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
▶If borders are shut down / traveling is banned at any given time, the total amount paid by the client will remain as a positive balance and the client will be able to reschedule the reservation without any form of penalization.
1) Each guest must be registered before arrival, must send their identity document and must complete the contract with the information of all guests. Also show your Identity or Passport document at the time of check in.
2) The DocuSign is a mandatory document and must be completed at least 72 hours before the arrival of the guest. DO NOT ENTER ANY GUEST WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENT AND WITHOUT HAVING REVISED PAYMENTS.
3) The entrance of visitors or guests of any type to the property is prohibited, only those who are registered in the reservation.
4) The entry of visitors is prohibited.
5) A fee of $10,000 COP per person must be paid for handles, due to provisions of the building administration.
6) No noises or loud music are allowed after 22:00 hrs.
7) The use of the apartment is only allowed for residential, business or leisure purposes, no meeting or parties of any type are allowed in the apartment.
8) Any damage caused to the apartment or property belongings must be notified to the company that provides the rental service and must be attended and fixed in less than 7 working days.
9) In case of fire, do not use the elevator.
10) It is strictly forbidden to smoke any type of substances in the premises of the building nor in the apartment, including cigars and tobacco there is a $50 USD fee if you are found smoking inside.
11) It is not allowed to leave any type of articles or items with the security guards in the building.
12) It is forbidden to bring pets of any kind to the property.
13) Sex tourism within the property is totally forbidden.
14) Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
15) Every time you leave the apartment, turn off the A/C, lights and leave the windows and the entrance door closed.
16) Please do not leave the keys inside the apartment. The door will be locked, preventing it from being opened from the outside. A locksmith brings an extra cost to you. Every additional set of keys has a cost of $25.0 USD.
17) To conserve the environment, we ask you to be responsible for the consumption of water and light.
18) Security in the building is not responsible for any losses inside the apartment, we ask to close both locks well and make sure that the door is locked behind you. For your safety, there are surveillance cameras controlled by a private security company in the lobby and the elevators.
19) Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Please throw the trash of the apartment in the chute and give the keys to the local expert. Make sure to let your Local Expert know your Check-Out time and leave the windows & door are secured.
20)Tenant is solely responsible for the use of the swimming pool or roman pool (the Pool) located on the property, and the Host has warned the Tenant of the dangers to Tenant that could result from the use of the Pool since there is no lifeguard on duty. The Tenant hereby releases the Host, his heirs, successors, and assigns (collectively Releasees) from all liability for any physical injury or death to the Tenant that results, directly or indirectly from the use (accidental or otherwise) of the Pool. Tenant further agrees to indemnify and save and hold Releasees harmless from any loss, liability (accidental or otherwise), attorneys' fees, damage, or costs that Releasees (or any of them) may incur arising out of or related to the use the Pool, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. The Tenant fully understands that the use of the Pool involves risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including death (Risks), and understands that the use of the Pool and surrounding areas will not be supervised by any of the Releasees, and Tenant fully accepts and assumes all Risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages Tenant incurs as a result of using said Pool or surrounding areas.

* As a company, we must collect and remit the 19% VAT of each reservation that will be charged upon arrival. Tourists, foreigners, and residents in other countries are exempt from this tax. You must provide a valid passport.
