The Menorcan Farmhouse is the ultimate holiday get-away for large families & for those searching for complete privacy and tranquillity on the peaceful island of Menorca. The farmhouse is of traditional rural architecture with a central front porch area with three arches and a large terrace surrounding the house with amazing countryside views. The pool sits gracefully behind the house with a large pergola providing shade and with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The property has 7 large bedrooms (including one apartment annexe), 6 bathrooms, 3 kitchens an several living room areas with cinema screen and projector. Guests have access to 12 mountain bikes, sea kayaks, and sports equipment. The house is fully immersed in a 500 acre private estate with fields and forests and has direct access to a large private rocky beach ideal for private swims and exploring the beautiful North Coast of Menorca (the amazing Cala Pilar and Algaiarens). It is also near to several beautiful sandy beaches (12 minutes drive) that are ideal for children. The terrace that surrounds the house has wonderful views of the countryside & is ideal for outdoor family meals. The property is located 30 minutes drive from the harbour town of Cuitadella on the north coast of Menorca. Ciutadella is a beautiful historic town with a good selection of restaurants & boutique shops as well as hosting weekly food markets in the main square.
The property is a unique farmhouse with 500 acres of private Mediterranean land with forests and fields reaching down to a very private rocky beach. In 10 minutes you can also drive to the sandy beaches of Algereins which are great for kids as they have shallow blue waters and fine sand. The farm is a great base for walking, mountain biking and horse riding. With the rental you also get some sea kayaks which allow you to explore the coast peacefully.
Ciutadella: The local harbour town of Ciutadella is only 30 minutes drive which has some wonderful restaurants and small boutique shops. The town also has weekly food markets selling the freshest Mediterranean food possible. In the town you can also hire boats and sign up for daily diving expeditions.
