Little Lake Joe is actually an arm in the centre of Lake Joseph, reaching out to the north and east. By boat it is close to the Joe River providing access to Lake Rosseau and through the locks in Port Carling, Lake Muskoka as well. It's just 15 minutes from the quaint village of Rosseau with it's lovely restaurant "Crossroads" , the historic Rosseau General Store, bakery, boutiques and the must visit weekly Farmers Market at the Rosseau Water Park. "The Rock" golf club in Minett is a short 15 minute drive and Rocky Crest Golf Resort on the north shore of Lake Joseph with its 3 championship golf courses, waterpark and 3 restaurants is a 35 minute drive.

LITTLE JOE LAKESIDE - Little Joe Lakeside is a newly-built modern cottage designed to be mobility friendly inside and out. Easily located close to the water with deck and docks to enjoy water activities, summer sun, dappled shade and beautiful Muskoka sunset colours. A naturally shaded area exists for Muskoka chair seating along the shoreline. The brilliant sunsets from the dock are second to none! The extensive well equipped deck is furnished with high quality comfortable seating, a propane fire-pit, a direct line bbq and a pizza oven! A 6 person hot tub accessed from the same deck completes this lovely outdoor space. From the deck walking towards the lake, guests will find a wood burning fire pit. A long dock reaches well out into the bay as the water here is shallow - one can walk out quite a distance before being immersed in deep water.
