Positive: This is a great little apartment. We are a family of 4 (3 adults one teen). We received a lovely welcome from our hosts, communicating via WhatsApp and a greeting in person to show us into the apartment. We received two sets of keys for the apartment and pool area which is perfect when you have older children. We loved that these apartments are privately owned and full of local people going about their daily lives, and there is a real sense of pride to keep clean and respectful grounds. The bus stop is directly outside the building. We saw maintenance and cleaning staff in the communal areas every day. Access to the beach and pool is just perfect, with a local sea food restaurant as part of the complex. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had nice white bedding and towels. Thank you for providing beach towels and a body board! The kitchen has plenty of crockery, glasses and a lovely coffee perculator. The fridge/freezer is a perfect size for a family. We were provided with dishcloths, washing up liquid and kitchen roll which is a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay in this pretty apartment and would book again if returning to Gran Canaria.
Negative: The shower provided hot water for about 5 min for the first person but after that you needed to wait about 30min for the next lot of hot water; because there were 4 of us that meant waiting 2 hours for us all to shower (in hot water) and be ready to go out. There is NO lock on the bathroom door...our teenagers were horrified! The kitchen needs a chopping board, bread knife and a pair of scissors. I think two or more tea towels would be better for a week's stay for 4 people. Please note that the second bedroom doesn't have a window and the air conditioning unit is in the lounge so you need to leave the bedroom door open if you want any air flow in the single bedroom.
