Positive: Incredible location and views. Breathtaking nature, sunset, the whole reserve. Which is even more a shame taking into consideration that you have such a beautiful location yet execute everything else soo poorly. Dissapointing and not up to Habitas standards in other countries. After visiting a few other Habitas properties and being impressed with attention to detail, activities, staff and beautiful properies, this was nothing like it. Not even close.
Negative: The tents and the whole property are in slight need of renovation, but this is not a big issue. The place lacks character and soul in every way. Especially after you stay in Habitas properties in other countries and then come to this one - nothing can even remotely compare to the brand in other locations. The common areas are falling apart and are not decorated in welcoming way. Staff was visibly annoyed that we came for dinner towards the end of the dinner window time and was rushing us throughout so they could go home. They were packed and ready to leave because we were the only guests at dinner. Receptionist was also our dinner and breakfast waitress, and pool attendant. All the time with the same unenthusiastic tone and seeming slightly annoyed with everything. The pool was dirty, not just the shabby look of it but there were cigarette buds inside and other dirt. One of the employees was playing with her child in the common area then later reading a book on the lounge, as if at her own home. The restaurant and pool area looks like it has been done 10+ years ago and never redecorated - hard to belive this is a property that opened in 2020. The whole feeling is unwelcoming, shabby, and no soul or character to the property that could have been absolutely amazing given the location of it.
Summary: Disappointing in every aspect apart from the beautiful nature surrounding it.
