Positive: Fantastic location a 40 second walk from Polperro harbour. The room was nice and bright and clean with everything you need. We thought it great value for money for the exceptional location. It is a lot less expensive than other options in the village as you can pick a place to have breakfast yourself which really suited as given the central location there were so many great options. The owners recommended a lot of great places and we also took a boat trip from Polperro harbour to Fowey which they told us was great, it was amazing! It is a self check in which we liked and quiet compared to other places we stayed. There is a beautiful little stream running alongside the property and we could hear the water from our window. We liked the fact that windows all opened and unlike new hotels we were not sealed in. Polperro is a beautiful historic fishing village and this is a really quicky 16th century building.. so amazing. We wished we had stayed longer but their rooms were full so we couldn't extend our stay. There is a fabulous restaurant under the accommodation which you must book in advance. They kindly fit us in late when a table became free but we were lucky.
