Summary: Philippe was a great host. We had scheduling issues for picking up the keys at his apartment so he was willing to meet us at the airport to drop off and pick up our keys, which we appreciated very much. Very accommodating. He always responded quickly and stayed in touch during our entire stay. He gave us a good recommendation for a restaurant we could walk to just a few minutes away (New Cap). The apartment was like it looked in pictures - small but clean and had what we needed. Kitchen had appliances and coffee pods. The double bed and the bunk beds were comfortable. The two beach chairs provided were a nice perk, if the apartment had one or two more beach towels that would be great because we only brought one in our luggage. The apartment complex was quiet and safe, and is gated. Plus the view was stunning! We enjoyed waking up and drinking our coffees by our window. The overall location was super. The walk from the apartment complex to the beach is hardly a walk - it is RIGHT on the beach, which is what we wanted because we didn't have a car for a few days. You don't have to cross a road which is nice. Diamant Beach is quite large, and it was one of our favorite beaches on the South Western part of the island. Some of the beaches in the south had zero waves, whereas Diamant was fun to body surf and boogie board at, but still felt safe. At the opposite end of the beach is the main town area with shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 / 25 minute walk along the beach to the "downtown" or a two minute drive, if that. The view of the diamant rock and the small mountain at our end of the beach was breathtaking, very special. I would definitely book again! Thanks Philippe!
