Enjoy this beautiful, private lakefront home available for your special getaway! Newly built in 2015, with 4 bedrooms on 10 acres with 700+ feet of frontage on Island Lake. Great for several families or a group of friends. You won’t hear the neighbors but you will hear loons! Only 2 hours from the Twin Cities and 45 minutes to Duluth. The Moose Lake area offers a grocery store, coffee house, multiple restaurants, gift shops, a brewery, a bowling alley and a movie theater. Ample recreational activities include biking, golfing, fishing, snowmobile and ATV trails. Enjoy a hike at nearby Moose Lake State Park or Banning State Park.
This vacation spot is so beautiful, you might not want to leave the grounds, however! On the main level, you’ll find a spacious open kitchen/dining/family room with beautiful lake views and an indoor gas fireplace. Well-equipped gourmet kitchen with induction cooktop, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig. Master bedroom downstairs with queen bed, walk-in closet, and master bath with walk-in double shower. Laundry room with complimentary washer/dryer, and a half bath and large “mud room” are available for everyone.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. 2 bedrooms each have a Queen bed; the third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds. Enjoy time together in the large family room with air hockey and foosball tables, an elliptical machine, and large screen smart TV. A DVD player with many DVDs, board games and puzzles are included for a rainy day. Wi-Fi throughout the home.
Enjoy the loons calling from your large screened porch with fireplace – a great way to start the day with a cup of coffee, or to wind down after a day on the water. Newly done landscaping with patio, ample seating and outdoor fire pit. Staircase down to the waterfront, where there is a dock and sitting area. Feel free to bring your own boat; the public access is just across the lake, less than 2 miles away. 2 10-foot kayaks are included with your stay, as well as life jackets for children and adults. Island Lake has excellent swimming, boating and fishing. Firewood, life jackets, hair dryers, bed and kitchen linens, and towels (including beach towels) all included in your stay. Usually there are great breezes and natural cooling at night with open windows, but the home does have two mini-split air conditioners installed, one on each floor. Exterior security cameras are present on the property
