Summary: The accommodation was absolutely fantastic - spacious, modern, fully equipped and impeccably clean ! A friendly and fantastic welcome with a smile, and a delicious Pays Basque Cake, from Brigitte. She provided us with very useful information about visiting the region, and she had no problem to communicate with us in English. The accommodation was absolutely calm and in total security, perfectly located between the mountains and the sea. Geographically Ascain is the best place to stay, in close proximity to everything, a ten minute drive to Saint Jean de Luz to enjoy the lively ambiance of the seaside town, a 15 minute drive to Biarritz, and a 20 minute drive to Saint Sebastian in Spain, of course a visit to Hondarabia is also a must. The Pays Basque is a wonderful region to visit, we will return to again, and it goes without say that the accommodation will be reserved with Brigitte !
