"Riesling Retreat" is a chalet style home with a Nantucket flair situated in the heart of the Keuka Lake Bluff. This home features fantastic views of the lake, vineyards, and hillsides that dazzle with fall foliage. Come during grape harvest in September and tour the Keuka Lake Wine Trail.
With 2 levels of deck, you can enjoy private sun bathing; BBQ's, or relaxing on the hammock that is provided. In addition, the property boasts great hiking trails, and plenty of space to play. Traffic is minimal because the home is located off the main road, making the natural setting a beautiful, spacious place.
The house itself is located on the hill well above the lake and offers amazing panoramic views from the decks and almost every room in the house. As you enter Riesling Retreat you will be impressed with its contemporary cottage- style open living room, dining room and modern kitchen. Climb the open oak stairwell to the master suite [loft] off the balcony that overlooks the main living space. The master suite contains a comfortable king size bed, cathedral ceiling, a private deck, and spacious luxury bath with an oversized shower, commode and sink. As this is the only bedroom upstairs, enjoy a relaxing shower or private moment on the deck in peace.
Two additional bedrooms and a full bath complete the living space on the main floor. A natural pine stairway leads to the lower level recreation room. Furnished with a nautical theme, again the views of the lake are spectacular. Sit at the window seat and enjoy reading the morning paper, or lounge in comfort on the couch with a good book in the evening. The lower level bedroom features a queen size bed close to a full bath.
Outdoor living is the Max at Riesling Retreat, enjoy the sunsets from the wicker furniture on the deck, lounge in the hammock, play games in the yard, or visit the beach that is just a short walk down the shared driveway to the sloping pathway at the edge of the tree line. The lakefront offers a large deck and permanent dock with boat slips.
