The Georgians did their entertaining on the Ground and the First floors of their town houses. Therefore, these floors generally always have beautiful high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and finished with stunning Georgian architecture and cornicing. Russel Maisonette delivers on all these aspects. In the Lounge there are two comfortable three seater sofas as well as two additional arm chairs and furnished with plenty of tables and lights. Large floor to ceiling windows overlook Russel Street and views of beautiful Georgian architecture. The Lounge has it's original marble fireplace which is decorative and now houses a Smart TV with Netflix and also a DVD. The Kitchen and Dining Area are located on this floor.
The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a lovely dinner. There is an oven, four gas hob burners, a dishwasher and a combination washer/dryer. A side board is provided for additional storage. The dining table which seats six, overlooks the back garden. Three large windows ensure a lot of natural light brightens up this room.
There are stairs leading down to take you to the three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one being an En-suite) and the door leading to the two tiered courtyard garden.
The Master bedroom is located at the back of the house overlooking the garden. It is a peaceful bedroom and has a double bed, a built in wardrobe, a chest of drawers, side tables and an En-suite shower room. The En-suite is equipped with a shower, basin and WC.
The Second and Third bedrooms are located at the front of the apartment. The Second bedroom has a Double bed, a small wardrobe, a chest of drawers and two side tables. The Third bedroom has Twin beds and by arrangement, these Zip & Link beds can be repositioned and reconnected to make a Double bed. Please note, the beds are 2'6" wide when separated so slightly narrower than the standard 3' wide. You will also find bedside tables and lamps, a small vanity table and stool as well as built in wardrobes with hanging and shelving space.
The family bathroom is located in the hallway opposite the bedrooms. It is a spacious, beautifully tiled bathroom with a hand basin, WC and a bath with an over head shower.
The fabulous courtyard garden is accessed from this level. It is a two tiered garden with a table and four chairs positioned on the lower level for those who prefer the shade. A set of stairs takes you upwards to the upper tier which is filled with lovely greenery, a long bench, and a long table with seating for six.
