Sitting on the rocks just above the Caribbean Sea, Scotch on the Rocks was originally owned by a Scottish Lord until it was sold in the 1980's by the Earl of Mansfield. Today, the villa is a Jamaican family owned vacation home but the name and the legacy live on.
‘Scotchie', as the villa is affectionately called, is ideal for family vacations or romantic getaways. Nestled between two prestigious hotels, Sandals Royal Plantation to the West and Jamaica Inn to the East, the villa has breathtaking views. Although only a few minutes from the town center and near to many attractions and activities, it is extremely private.
From the outside in, Scotch on the Rocks captures Jamaica's beauty and laid-back vibe. Set amid a brightly colored tropical garden, the villa's turquoise exterior walls mirror the brilliance of the Caribbean Sea. Inside, the villa's clean and fresh décor, tastefully accented with Jamaican mahogany furniture, travertine tile floors and intricate fretwork, creates a relaxed atmosphere, sure to soothe the mind, body and soul.

THE VILLA
The villa's first floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen and two verandas. The verandas are the heart of the villa, each with a view of the sea.
The main veranda flows onto a wooden deck that looks out onto the breadth of the sea. The teak lounge chairs on the veranda or the Adirondack style chairs on the deck are the perfect places to relax, sip on a cool drink and watch boats and seabirds sail along the horizon.
On the other side of the house is the dining veranda, located right beside the kitchen and formal dining area. A treat for all senses, this veranda serves up delicious meals and breathtaking views.
Bedrooms
This two-story villa has five bedrooms. There are three bedrooms upstairs, each with a king size bed and private balcony. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one having two twin beds and the other having four twin beds, all of which can be converted to king beds on request.
All bedrooms have:

THE EXTERIOR
In between the villa's two verandas is a fresh water swimming pool. Plush, wooden lounge chairs line the edge of the pool, perfect for sun tanning or taking in the expansive view of the sea.
Just a few steps away from the pool deck and in close proximity to the dining veranda is an outdoor barbecue. Perfect for grilling and chilling.
A short walk down stairs from the pool deck leads to the Caribbean Sea and the villa's private wooden pier and gazebo. Standing on the edge of the pier, the gazebo offers a respite from the sun in the day and a romantic spot to watch the sunset in the afternoon
Resting on the pristine Caribbean Sea, Scotch on the Rocks is a swimmer's paradise. Beside the pier is a shallow, sandy alcove that gives easy access to the sea. Protected by a reef, the water is so clear that on a calm day you can see the sandy bottom
Scotchie's garden blooms with exotic, tropical flowers and orchids. In the garden, under the tall, shady trees are inviting spots to enjoy the beauty of nature.
