Solander House is located on one of Port Douglas’ most sought after streets. The house offers unrivaled lifestyle and accessibility to the fabulous Four Mile Beach.
There is ample room here for the active family and plenty of features that all will enjoy – outdoor barbeque, sheltered seating portico and a heated swimming pool.
With free-flowing indoor and outdoor zones, the property has been designed to take full advantage of its tropical setting. Louvers and screens provide a living space which is both light and airy – the warm sea breezes are sure to delight.
Ideal for two families or a group of friends, the house effortlessly accommodates 12 guests.
The main house has a modern kitchen, fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware. The granite island bench is ideal for meals on the go or you can sit down in the adjoining dining area.
Fantastic for entertaining, the open plan kitchen complements the spacious, light filled living area. The lounge room features a large sofa and lounge chairs and is complete with a flatscreen TV, Foxtel, DVD and CD player.
The spacious Master bedroom features an ensuite bathroom and walk in robe. The second bedroom has twin single beds (or king) and a family bathroom across the hallway. There is also a kids bedroom for the little ones, featuring two bunk beds (sleeps 2 children).
Behind the main house there are two more generous sized bedrooms. One has a king bed with en suite. The other bedroom features an en suite, kitchenette and can be configured into 4 single or 2 king beds.

Summary: Solander House was the most relaxing comfortable holiday I have had in a long time. House so well set up for extended family stay. We had 7Adults staying spread over all 5 bedrooms. The Kitchen was amazingly set up and equipped with everything and more. BBQ area very functional and Pool just the right temperature for floating the week away.
